Jeffrey King
Jeffrey King steps up to the mic with an air of quiet humility, only to bear his very soul to his audiences with his poignant, earnest lyrics and powerful voice. He combines lovers rock with classical training and a healthy dose of emotion to create songs that are at once relatable and extraordinary.
In his time at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ, King performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kimmel Center. He has also spent time in church choirs, working on solos and spirituals. King has a way of bridging the gap between genres, creating something all his own. Touting artists such as Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder as some of his biggest influences, it’s no wonder Jeffrey King’s music is so entrancing.
King’s performances are melodic experiences, beguiling audiences with his uninhibited emotion and lyrics that take up residence in your mind. He takes that same energy with him into the studio, capturing the same raw emotions and releasing them into the wild.
Jeffrey King is currently working on his first release with Cold Summer Records titled Breaking Down the Machine. Appearing on this single are a few long-time bandmates from Secret Remedy, in which King was the lead singer. This release will be accompanied by a dub version mixed by James Pasqua. Breaking Down the Machine will be available on all music streaming platforms soon.
